Fire Roasted Bone Marrow

Be careful, these fire roasted marrow bones are extremely Morrish.

4x Marrow Bones, Cleaned

Fresh Thyme

Salt & Pepper

Fresh Parsley, Finely Chopped

1/2 Fresh Baguette, Toasted

Olive oil


METHOD:


Step 1

This recipe can totally be done in any barbecue or oven but for this cook Iā€™m using the pizza oven. If you're using the oven just set it to 180C fan bake.

Step 2

Remove the thyme from its stalks and roughly chop. Drizzle the bone marrow with the a little olive oil, then season with salt and pepper and the chopped thyme. Thinly slice the baguette, then lightly oil and season with salt.

Step 3

Place the bone marrow and sliced bread onto trays or skillets and pop into oven for 30 minutes to roast. Rotate the pan half way through and flip the bread.

Step 4

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Using a teaspoon, scoop the roasted marrow and spread onto the toasted baguette slices.
